BETA is a technology accelerator, not a business incubator.  We look for creative technologies, not business plans, pitch decks, or investment proposals.

Innovators accepted into BETA, “BETA Residents,” commit between six and twelve months (depending on full- or part-time) of intensive prototyping, mentoring, and market assessment. In return, BETA gives Residents the space, time, and support they need to get their technology into the field.

How to Apply

Step 1

Apply! We have made it as easy as possible. Simply send us an email at beta@investeddevelopment.com describing the innovation you are working on and how it will help the underserved in emerging markets.

Step 2

Get to work. If your proposal is selected, you will work closely with ID staff to flesh out your idea and begin prototyping.

Step 3

Go to market. Piloting your innovation outside the lab is the only way to know if it will work in the real world.
